Description: An issue occurred during a routine update to our search service, which caused product search to become temporarily unavailable. The update introduced a configuration imbalance that disrupted the service.
Impact: During this period, product search was unavailable. Customers could still access product detail pages directly, and core functionality such as basket, checkout and payments continued to operate as normal. However, browsing and finding products via search was affected.
Resolution: Once identified, we restored the search service by reconfiguring the system and recovering all data. Service returned to normal shortly afterwards.
Conclusion: We apologise for the disruption and appreciate your patience while this was resolved. We are taking steps to help prevent similar issues in the future.
